Research a company with sources
Ask about a company in plain words. The Research Agent answers from company filings and stored prices, and each figure says where it came from and when.
The problem
Figures about a company are easy to find and hard to trust. A web page may be out of date, rounded, or about another company with a similar name.
What you want is the figure, the filing it came from, and the date, so you can check it yourself.
Step by step
Ask in plain words
Name the company the way you would say it, and ask what you want to know.
See the price first
The price shows under the box before you send: 10 tokens for a look-up of stored figures, 40 tokens for an answer an AI writes up from them.
Read the answer
Each figure carries a small number.
Follow the number
It leads to where the figure came from, with its date: a company filing at SEC EDGAR, a stored price, or a Federal Reserve series.
1 of 4You ask a question in plain words.
A worked example from a stored test
These are NVIDIA's quarterly revenues as the company filed them with the SEC, in a stored answer of the company figures service (SEC EDGAR XBRL company facts), read on 1 Oct 2026.
| Q1 FY2026, ended 27 Apr 2025 | $44.06 billion, 10-Q filed 28 May 2025 |
|---|---|
| Q2 FY2026, ended 27 Jul 2025 | $46.74 billion, 10-Q filed 27 Aug 2025 |
| Q3 FY2026, ended 26 Oct 2025 | $57.01 billion, 10-Q filed 19 Nov 2025 |
| Q4 FY2026, ended 25 Jan 2026 | $68.13 billion, 10-K filed 25 Feb 2026 (worked out: the year's report minus the first three quarters) |
| Q1 FY2027, ended 26 Apr 2026 | $81.62 billion, 10-Q filed 20 May 2026 |
| Q2 FY2027, ended 26 Jul 2026 | $96.22 billion, 10-Q filed 26 Aug 2026 |
Fourth quarters are derived: companies don't file a separate fourth-quarter report, so each Q4 figure is the fiscal year (10-K) minus the first nine months (third-quarter 10-Q). Balance-sheet figures for Q4 are the year-end balance sheet as filed.
A 10-Q's cash-flow statement covers the fiscal year to date, so second- and third-quarter cash flows are the year-to-date figure minus the previous one.
Ask the Research Agent the question below and its answer carries figures like these, each with its filing and date.
What it cannot tell you
- Company accounts come from SEC filings, so they cover companies that file with the SEC. For a London or European company, answers draw on stored prices and dividends, and say what they could not read.
- A figure is as the company filed it, in the filing named beside it.
- A "why" question is answered with a web search, its sources listed, and is priced as a written answer (40 tokens).
- It does not tell you what to buy or sell, and it does not say where a price will go.
