Where each figure came from
Each figure in an answer carries a small number. It leads to where the figure came from, with its date: a company filing at SEC EDGAR, a stored price, a Federal Reserve series, or a web page found for a "why" question.
Everyday words
Words like cheap, growing or safe have no single meaning. The Research Agent reads each one a stated way and says so above the answer. Everyday words lists them.
What it costs
- A research question answered by looking figures up (a price, a company figure, a dividend, an interest rate): 10 tokens.
- A research question an AI writes up from those figures, or from a web search with its sources listed: 40 tokens.
- Deep research: several look-ups, written up with sources: 120 tokens.
- A research playbook: several deep-research sections: 250 tokens.
The price shows under the box before you send.
What it will not do
- Tell you what to buy or sell.
- Make up a figure it does not hold: it says what it lacks instead.
- Say where a price will go.
