- What are Tesla's main risk factors? What the 10-K says
- Nvidia's earnings history Earnings history and price reaction
Intermediate · Prove it
Check whether a result could be luck
Prove it runs a finished result through harder tests, to see whether luck alone could explain it. You find it on a finished result and on My Strategies, and it shows its price before it starts.
The tests it runs:
- Random-entry baseline: buying and selling on random days, as long in the market.
- Placebo (shuffled prices): the rule on prices shuffled into a random order.
- Signal delay / look-ahead check: every trade a day late.
- Triple trading costs: three times the trading costs.
- Parameter neighbourhood: slightly different settings.
- Walk-forward, fold by fold: settings fitted on earlier years, then run on the years after them.
- Regime and sub-period stability: each part of the test on its own.
Beginner · Pretend money
Track a rule with pretend money
After a test, start the rule today with pretend money and see what it does from now on. No real money is used.
Under every result, in What next:
- Watch this rule
- Track it with pretend money
A tracked rule is on the Paper Trading page.
