Release note

Plans priced in pounds, and one place for billing

billingUXfix

We rebuilt billing so that what you see matches what you're charged, from sign-up to upgrade.

Plans in pounds. Plans are priced in GBP: Starter £19, Pro £45 and Enterprise £99 a month. The pricing page, the plans screen and the paywall all read from the same plan records, so they can't disagree. The paywall used to show hard-coded dollar prices and features that didn't exist; that's gone. If you pick a plan on the pricing page before you have an account, you now land on the plans screen after signing up, instead of on the dashboard. When a subscription payment goes through, your plan's monthly token allowance is credited once for that billing period.

One Billing area. Billing was spread across three entries in the account menu. There's now one Billing page with tabs for your overview, usage and plans, and the old addresses redirect to it. The old usage page, which failed to load, is replaced by the Usage tab.

A token history you can read. Tokens you spend now show as negative amounts in red, instead of positive green numbers that looked like credits. The dashboard shows your real token balance and the tokens you've used in the last 30 days, and a zero balance shows as zero instead of a loading placeholder that never finished.

Starting your trial. If your account has no token wallet yet (for example, because you signed up before the fix described in our 25 September entry), the paywall now offers a "Start free trial" button that grants the 100 trial tokens. Each account can receive the trial once.

Update, 29 September 2026: from 27 September the trial was 1,000 tokens. From 29 September new accounts get 500 free tokens once their email address is verified; accounts that already had a trial keep their tokens. See our 29 September entry. From 4 October 2026 the trial is 1,000 tokens. The "Start free trial" button now works only for a verified email; otherwise the paywall asks you to verify and can resend the email.
