Getting started
Your first test
Write an idea in plain words, check what the agent read, and run it. This page walks through one test from the box to the result.

Before you start
- You need an account. Sign up and verify your email to get your free tokens.
- A test costs 300 tokens, whatever its length or how many shares it covers. The price shows on the button before anything is spent.
Step by step
- Open the Strategy Agent.
- Type your idea in the box. Plain words are fine: name the share or fund, what should make it buy, what should make it sell, and how long to test.
- The button shows the price before you press it. Press it to send.
- The agent reads your words as a rule. If something is missing or could mean two things, it asks you a question first, free of charge.
- The rule is replayed on past daily prices, with trading costs and dividends, and the result opens.
Ideas to try
RSI strategy on Tesla, buy under 30, sell over 70.
These words name no period, so the agent tests the last 3 years and says so on the result.

Writing an idea the agent can read
- Name what to trade: a company (Apple), a fund (SPY), or a short list of either.
- Say what makes it buy and what makes it sell. Say only when to buy, and the agent picks a way to sell and tells you which.
- Say how long to test, such as "over the last ten years". The longest test is 20 years.
- Name settings, such as the length of an average, or leave them out: the rule reference lists what is used when you name none.
If it cannot run
Some ideas cannot be tested yet, such as rules that need earnings dates. The agent says so before anything runs, and nothing is charged. A test that runs but never buys anything is refunded. Why was my test refused?
