Deployments

Where a rule you follow could place orders in a practice account, with your approval each day. Quantis Trade does not place real-money trades.

Today

  • Quantis Trade does not place real-money trades.
  • For most accounts the Deployments page is a waitlist.
  • Practice deployments, where a rule's orders go to a practice account at a broker, are being built and tested. They are not open to every account.

How a practice deployment is designed to work

This describes a feature that is not open to every account. When it is open on yours, the Deployments page says so.

  1. You choose a rule you already follow with pretend money, a connected practice account, and the most pretend money it may use.
  2. Each trading day, the rule's decision becomes a plan of whole-share orders, worked out from what the broker says the account holds.
  3. Nothing is sent until you approve the day's plan, with one tap, before a cut-off shortly before the market closes. You can skip a day.
  4. Sales go first. Purchases go once the sales have filled, sized from the cash the broker then reports.
  5. Every order passes the same safety checks as any order Quantis Trade sends, and you can pause or stop at any time.

Why each day needs your approval

A rule that trades by itself can do a lot before anyone notices. Approving each day's plan keeps a person in the loop while the rule runs on pretend money.

Why the practice account will not match the tracker

A pretend-money portfolio fills at each day's prices inside Quantis Trade. A practice account is filled by the broker, in whole shares, at the prices it gives. The two drift apart, and the gap shows what trading adds.

Real money

Real-money trading is not available. It needs a legal check and the broker's approval first, and there is no date.

These pages describe how Quantis Trade works and what its tests show about the past. They are not forecasts and not advice.
