The Strategy Agent
The page where you type an idea and get a test: what it reads, what it asks, what it charges, and what you can do with a result.
On this page
Where it is
Strategy Agent, under Agent in the top bar. A "Try it" link anywhere on this site opens it with an example typed in. Nothing is sent until you press the button.
What it reads from your words
- What to trade: company names, fund symbols, a list, or a group such as the Magnificent Seven.
- The rule: when to buy and when to sell.
- How long to test, up to 20 years.
- Settings, stops, profit targets, time limits and shorts, when you name them.
The rule reference lists every kind of rule it can run, with the settings it uses when you name none.
When it asks you a question
If a name could be two companies, a setting is unclear, or the rule needs something the engine cannot do, the agent asks before anything runs. A company it cannot place is asked about by name, with the nearest ones Quantis holds. Questions cost nothing.
Your amount and broker
In the composer you can set an amount, a currency and a broker. The test then uses that broker's published charges, and whole or part shares as the broker allows. Leave them and the test uses the standard costs.
The result, and what next
The result opens on a short card; the full report is one tap away (reading a result). Under it, What next offers the next steps, such as "Watch this rule" and "Track it with pretend money". Nothing below is started until you tap it.
Saving and coming back
Save a result to My Strategies to come back to it, compare it with others, share it, or run Prove it on it later.
What it charges
- Every test costs 300 tokens, whatever its length and however many shares it covers.
- The price shows on the button before anything is spent.
- Questions the agent asks you are free. A test that is refused, or whose rule never buys anything, is refunded automatically.
