Methodology
How tests are made and checked
Where to read the full method, the recorded tests, and every fix that changed results.
The method in full
Honest methodology sets out the checks behind every result, with their thresholds: when a result holds a figure back, and why.
The recorded tests
The evidence explorer holds a designed grid of house tests across fixed sets of US, UK and European shares and funds, with the same costs throughout and every refusal kept. Its counts are made on windows that share no days.
Fixes that changed results
Corrections lists every change to how tests are worked out that changed stored results, with the day it went live, which results it touched and how to tell an older one. The changelog has the rest.
